Trying To Talk Reason To Religious Fanatics Is Like Beating Your . . . .

With Israel much in the news now, I got to see some footage last night of Israelis praying at the Wailing Wall. This is where religious men (no girls allowed) express their piety by chanting and literally beating their heads against a sacred wall. Talk about a living metaphor!
I was also treated to some shots of young Palestinian Arabs chanting over their Korans.

I can't help wondering: Is there any hope for peace in a place where, for people on both sides of an issue, the mere memorization and reciting back of something passes for wisdom?

Hey! You and your anti-semantic views can go to...ohhh wait ...you and your Pro-Israel stance can eat my Palestinian...ooo wait...how about " A loop is a loop is a loop ia a loop is a.."...tough issues but what can break this algorithmic discriminatory stance? That's right!!! Consumerism baby! The ability to develop a substantial consumer base will eventually take precedent over political, spiritual, cultural differences not just in the middle east but throughout the world! Now, I'm not saying war doesn't make money but eventual coca-cola will want their products to be bought anywhere, anytime and with easy access. One does not shop when dodging bullets. When will our founding fathers, inter, multi and national corporations create their perfect consumer world....their sooo close...just push it a bit further ConAgra...We can all look towards consumerism to finally bring peace to our troubled planet...peace so we can shop...d.
