Seat Me In The Non-Clicheing Section, Please

Total failure at finding intelligent conversation at the coffee shop this morning.
I wonder if the people who insist on telling me that "Life is a bitch and then you die" realize how much they contribute to life being that way?

I was reading the previous post and the comments. Why was the tea bag guy's comment published twice?
And where did the Bennett/Martin come from?

The double comment must have been caused by some technical glitch that I know nothing about. Interstingly, it reveals that this person was recycling someone else's words from the Net--as is usually the case when I'm contacted by right-wingers. I welcome debate. I encourage it. But depositing info from other sites onto this page is, as you can see, merely tedious. This blog is meant to be an exchange of ideas. If any of these reactionary sheep ever get an ORIGINAL IDEA, I certainly encourage them to write.

Bennett/Martin? Apparently this was Anonymous's way of informing me that he has personal info on me.
Maybe he's a member of the Tea Party Gestapo!

It's under annonymous because my google account hasn't worked in ages and I can't figure out why.

I'd sent an email to you directly that I'm pretty sure said that they were in fact not my words, but Pete Savini's words. Maybe I'm mistaken but I was under the impression you embraced debate, or are you just looking to be agreed with because I do agree from time to time.

This is Veronica, not trying to be annonymous at all.

Sorry, I don't have a google account so the site will only take my comments as anonymous.

1. Let's see The easiest first the comment about Tony/Dean was meant to identify me (as someone you've met) it was about a conversation I was part of in a living room in East Anchorage four or five years ago.

2. I believe you got an e-mail from V explaining that she sent me an e-mail and I replied to her and she posted it twice by mistake.

3. Every word is mine.

4. I am a libertarian, not a member of the tea party and pretty sure that there is not a tea party gestapo but, who knows.

PS If it upsets you I will be glad to let you go back to agreeing with each other.

Pete Savini

Holy shit, who's on first?
Frankly, I favor Pete Savini's version of "That's Amore" over Thomas Jefferson's, and if Tony Bennett is leading the Tea Party Gestapo's investigation of the Libertarians, fine.
I'll agree with anything--just let me catch my breath!

Wow. This is the "anonymous" who yesterday registered confusion about the double comment in the previous day's comments. I'm comfortable the technical glitch speculation. Otherwise, after reading the subsequent comments by the other "anonymous" commentors, I fear being wounded by friendly fire. I checked the anonymous option because I don't know whether or not my email address would become public should I check "openID" or "Name/URL".

I'm confused, i was never allowed to sign in under my supposed google account.

Was that last anonymous Pete or someone that's upset with the anonymous thing?

I thought we were talking about Joe's comment.

This is Jughead . . . let's get down to the real problem . . . hippies.

I'll take a hippie over a Republican any day. I'll take a VW van over a Hummer, Jerry Garcia over Toby Kieth, and "Make Love Not War" over "Whoever Dies With The Most Toys Wins."
