A Challenge: Answer These Questions And I'll Join Your Goddamn "Party"

Tea Partyers:

1. If our current government is SOCIALIST, why has it provided 30 million new customers for privately owned insurance companies?

2. If it's FASCIST, why haven't you people been rounded up and arrested for holding anti-government rallies? Do you honestly believe that public dissent was allowed in Franco's Spain, Mussolini's Italy, or Hitler's Germany?

P.S. History books aren't just for burning--you might try reading one.

Tea Baggers: Reduce the deficit and keep the government away from our civil liberties? Sweet! Where were you during the Bush administration??

1.  It's socialism because the Obama Regime took over two major car companies destroyed the assets of the secured bond holders (the first people in line during a bankruptcy) and gave those assets to the unions (the people raping the companies to begin with).  They (the Bush Administration) allowed Lehman Brothers to fail, because so many of the main government money men were from rival Goldman Sachs, (Hank Paulson and his protoge' Tim Geitner) this is the part that has been named "Croney Capitalism" because in true capitalism any or all would have been allowed to fail, and bankruptcy courts would have allocated the assets in the same manner that has been used since the founding of the Nation.  Additionally, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac now controll 90% of the housing market mortgages because a local bank or credit union will make almost any loan but, will be destroyed if they use good lending practices, either by the government or by Obama's minions usally called ACORN. Don't believe that - check out where the socialist in chief worked as a community organizing solicitor.   Socialism, Hmmm, what does taking over all privately funded student loans have to do with health care could it be the Feds want to have control over who can get a loan for school and thereby get an education?

Speaking of Health Care Reform - first a ridiculus title health care was fine it was the cost that was out of hand.  Every socialist government starts with health care no thinking individual can believe the government wants to take care of them as well as they want to take care of themselves. The easiest problem to solve is antilaw suit testing - I need a CAT scan so I get and then just to be sure I get an MRI and then I'll need seven or eight blood tests to clarify everything.  truth is I probably could have stopped at the CAT scan but, Doctors don't like getting sued.  so start with Tort reform.  Then allow people to choose what they want for insurance okay I personally need catistrophic care in case of emergency, but I don't really need to be covered for breast cancer, so let me pick and choose like buying cable/dish packages.

Finally, out of the presidents own mouth to Joe the plumber "You've got to share the wealth."  The world is a harsh place, I watched a caribou being eaten by a pair of grey wolves at work last week, there are winners and losers in all facets of life.  Charity is not when the government (at the point of a gun) takes the money of those that follow the rules and work, it is when each person decides to help another, something we all need from time to time.  If the government is the only decider of who achieves wealth then we are socialists not the Judeo-Christian Meritocracy that the founders created.

2. Look up the definition of Fascism - it is a colaboration of government and business, not open bidding as has been the general case here in America but with the government deciding the winners and losers.  Isn't it amazingg that we have cell phones and all that the smart phones can do, today?  Previously to the breaker of AT&T (the old Ma Bell) they had a government sanctioned monopoly, the government decided they would be the sole provider of telephone service, there wer miniscule changes in phone service.  That was fascism in a microcosmic environment but, after the break up prices came down, research and inovation leaped to the forefront, and today I have a phone that plays my * gigs of music gives a different ring for every caller, I can get on the internet, chat or e-mail, and every kid in the country is irritating their parents by texting constantly.  This is capitalism or meritocracy at its best.

My dear friend Pete Savini responded with this..

And then this....

PS You might try reading about Woodrow Wilson, FDR and the American NAZI Party in the twenties.  And about the economic downturn of 1904.  Or anything by Freidman, Hyek, or the original Adam Smith.

But I'm not even a simple fireman anymore just a guy trying to teach young men become good firemen so I don't know much about this.

PPS Tony Bennett was always a better entertainer then Dean Martin

1.The automobile industry in America was socialized long before Obama came along. Do you really think that a purely free-enterprise country of 300 million people would have only 3 car companies?
2.Thanks to Bush's Patriot Act, you better be careful what you say on that marvelous cell phone.

Tony Bennett sucks. If it weren't for his Mob connections, no one would have ever heard of him.

Bush is the one who started socialized men=dicine with the "Prescription Drug Program" - a horrible Bill the Republicans are as bad as the Democrats, lets get rid of both and be true libertarians. We can pay for our own health care, feed our own children, work for our own best interests, pay less taxes to pay for roads, defense, and to ensure the truely poor and unable can live. Not people who don't want to work and are able bodied or corporations who want subsidies. dco you know that the group who makes the most from farm subsidies are 1. ADM 2. Congressmen and former Congressmen. WTF? Stop the insanity.

ADM is Archer Daniels Midland the largest Corporate Farm in the US and one of the largest commodities dealers.

Ah, so V. is the culprit!
I am not a fan of ADM either, nor any of the other huge corporations that have monopolized the food industry with the help of our tax dollars.
I'll check out the KD Lang thing.
