I Wonder How He'd Do in a Maze

I can't believe that Obama is contemplating an escalation of the Afghan war. With Vietnam fresh in our memory and troops still withdrawing from the mess in Iraq, he wants to make the same mistake again?
My god--a fucking laboratory rat won't push the same button that gives it a shock 3 times!
Is it too much to expect the same level of common sense from a Harvard graduate?

I think O is suffering from the same complex that befell Clinton. Neither one has any military backround. Clinton was a draft dodger and O a Harvard law dandy. No machismo. Don't own guns. Elected to be "commander-in-chief" they were both only too eager to dispel the perception that they're "girly men" and afraid to pull the trigger. Overseeing military action placates the don't tread on me crowd, creating an image that may earn him brownie points come election time. O seems too much like a people pleasing fence straddler to me. Fuck this consensus-building, olive branch approach. Do what you were elected to do! (Still better than McCain-Palin though.)

If he feels the need for macho street cred, maybe he should challenge his Republican enemies to some one-on-one on the new White House basketball court. Or buy a Corvette, or get a tattoo, or ANY FUCKING THING BUT MAKING WAR!

Unfortunately, It was Harvard graduates (McNamara Harvard B School) that got us into Viet Nam. Like Kurt Vonnegut (through Malachi Contance) said: "There are some things that the Harvard Business School Doesn't teach".

McNamara...gag....wretch....stomach souring
The "real" carmakers at Ford weren't fond of him either. Why do creeps like him rise to the top?
Hey Mr. K, for a shot of machismo maybe Obama should buy one of those Star Trek commander's uniforms and wear it when nobody's watching.
